DeLonghi ESAM6600 Brew Station Digital Super-Automatic Espresso Machine Review

I researched fully automatic espresso machines for over 6 months, always coming back to the Delonghi products. I read the good, the bad and the ugly of all of them, watched videos ect.... As we continued to drain our bank account with "take out, expensive, lattes and cappucino's" we bit the bullet and purchased the Delonghi Gran Dama. WOW is all I can say... We use it every day. Programmed to come on at a certain time to heat up, so when I come down I press a button and make the perfect cup of coffee, latte, cappucino whatever I'm in the mood for and in my own home. It's easy to use, yes a little loud BUT my 2year old and 7 year old do not even wake up and their rooms are above the kitchen. The cleaning and maintenance is no big deal and if your spending this much on any product I hope you want to maintain and take care of it as some people do their expensive cars....The machine tells you everything to do and has very clear directions that yes you must read before you use it only because it will only ensure you set it up correctly and get your perfect cup... I read the bad reviews complaints and I just don't have any of the problems they have... maybe they are from the competition worried about business)... If you are a coffee freak like I am or just want a "good cup of joe" this is for you...ENJOY

Be your own barista with the Lattissima by De'Longhi. You and your guests can enjoy delicious cappuccinos and lattes anytime. It's never been easier to create authentic Italian drinks with Nespresso's patented coffee capsule technology and De'Longhi's patented milk container. Simply place a capsule in the top of the machine and slide the milk container onto the front, place a cup under the nozzle and press the one-touch button. The Lattissima does all the work for you. The milk container detaches easily so you can place it in the refrigerator and the used capsules automatically eject into a container for quick removal. Enjoy coffee for years to come with the Latttissima pump automatic espresso machine.

DeLonghi EN720.M Automatic Coffee Machine with Capsule System, Cappuccino, Latte and Espresso Review

We purchased this machine primarily to make cappuccinos and lattes. It is easy to use and consistently makes excellent drinks. We use bottled water for all of our coffee so we have not had to descale the maker. However, the machine comes with a water-hardness tester and the machine can be adjusted based upon water hardness. We did not have to use the tester or make any adjustments.

Having to order the coffee pods directly from Nespresso may be a problem for some users. We order all my coffee online so we do not find ordering the pods from Nespresso to be particularly inconvenient. Also, we like knowing that the pods are not sitting on the shelf of a retailer for months.

If you are looking for a machine to make espressos, cappuccinos and lattes, you will love this machine. We have not been disappointed at all with this machine and would buy it again.

At the time of this review, there is only one other review of the Nespresso Lattessimo Premium. I do not necessarily disagree with some of the points that reviewer is making. For the use he or she is describing, there are better choices (Kruig makes an excellent single cup coffee maker). In using another espresso machine, we found that low fat milk makes better foam. We also prefer using 0% or 2% milk, so that is not an issue for us.

Cuisinart CHW-12 Black/Stainless Coffeemaker Plus Hot Water System 12-Cup Programmable Review

I actually went online looking for a new tea kettle, and found this 2 in 1 coffee maker. Not only does it make great coffee, but I LOVE the hot water dispenser. The kids can use it for making hot oatmeal or hot cocoa, and I can use it for hot tea and lemon water after my morning cup of Joe. It has a light indicator that turns solid when the water is ready, and another light that tells you that it needs more water added. The whole unit fits nicely under my kitchen cabinets. I really have no complaints about it.

Melitta Brew Station Coffeemaker 12-Cup Programmable Review

I bought this pot a month ago to replace a leaking 14 year old Braun. Unlike the Cuisinart, Krups, DiLongi and at least one other brand I've bought and returned, this one does those things a good coffee maker should do: It makes good coffee, it doesn't leak, the carafe has yet to drip one drop (why is this so hard?), it is easy to use (I disagree with another reviewer that the settings are hard to read, though they could be better), the reservoir is easy to fill, and the brew-pause feature doesn't drip and it's easy to re-insert the carafe. I'd give it 5 stars but (a) I wish you could control the length of time the hot-plate stays hot, (b) the machine is black and the coffee is black so it's hard to see with a glance how much coffee is left in the pot, and (c) it would be nice if, when changing the automatic start time, you could go backwards as well as forward, rather than cycling though a lot of hours or minutes. These three shortcomings are MINOR in light of all the really important things it does right. I hope is lasts as long as my Braun.
